Calm before the storm. Sandy will arrive sometime tomorrow. All government offices and schools are closed- hence the line of cars all trying to leave at the same time. The hurricane will be a category 1, which means sustained winds of up to 118 km/h. Right now it is raining heavily but no wind. I am staying with fellow volunteer Brianna, Maria and Odile, who is not a volunteer, but the daughter of a friend of Brianna’s. She is a first year journalism student at UWI. We are hanging out having a hurricane party.
